Contact handles are used to fill in WHOIS information associated with domain names. Instead of filling in this information every time you register a domain name, you can create pre-populated contact handles. Contacts can be created for one, or all, of the following contact types:
- Owner Contact
- Administrator Contact
- Technical Contact
- Billing Contact
Creating a contact:
- To create a contact handle, go to the “Domains” tab and click “Contacts”.
- Click “Create New Contact”.
- The mandatory info required is “First Name” & “Last Name”, “Organization”, “Street”, “Zip”, “City”, “Country”, “State” & “Telephone”.
- We also recommend adding the Organizations ABN number in the “Commercial Register Number” section.
- Note: for the “First Name” & “Last Name” section, we recommend adding general information such as “Domain Admin”.
- Click “Create contact handle”.
